It’s been quite a while since I’ve written a movie review because I haven’t come across any that have left a lasting impression on me since “Rudy” in 1993.  However, on this day in September 2023, I had the privilege of watching one of the most beautiful movies I’ve ever seen.

This movie, available on Amazon Prime, told the story of a young boy with aspirations of becoming an astronaut, and it was simply awe-inspiring. The screenplay, direction, and performances by the actors were nothing short of remarkable, surpassing anything I’ve seen in decades.

The Family.

How they portray the families in the film “A Million Miles Away” is simply beautiful.  The concept of family varies from culture to culture and in the Latin or Spanish cultures the family a deeply emotional experience. 

The portrayal of family is indeed a remarkable and moving aspect of the film, offering a poignant glimpse into the Latin culture’s profound emphasis on family values and dynamics. The concept of “family” in Latin culture is deeply rooted in traditions, relationships, and shared values, and it plays a central role in the lives of individuals and communities.
